Group certification questions
Can an exporter or packhouse hold the certificate?
Yes. The Rules for Producer Groups (4.1.1 b) accept an applicant entitled to production or trade: a trader, an exporter or a packhouse.
Does every member farm need its own licence?
No. The group holder holds the contract. Each member works in its own space and cannot see the others' data.
Is a paper logbook still acceptable?
In Ukraine, yes: Law 86/95-VR sets no format. In the EU, since 1 January 2026, records are kept in an electronic format (Regulation (EU) 2023/564). The hard part is merging twenty logbooks before every season's audit.
What changes for the certificate holder?
The register, internal audits and evidence for every member are in one system. Nobody collects papers by hand any more.
