Harvest and crew pay: Excel or Hortusys

Hortusys replaces the harvest and pay spreadsheet: the crew leader records each bin and job on the phone in the field, and the office sees the same records. Excel stays for export.

What changes when you leave the spreadsheet

  • Nobody types paper notes into the sheet after the shift. The crew leader records the bin in the field and scans the pickers' QR badges.
  • The bin's weight comes from the scales over Bluetooth or cable, not from a number written by hand.
  • Pay is calculated from the same records, at the rate the worker knows before the work.
  • You keep Excel for what it does well: the harvest report and the pay statement export to it.

Questions about moving from Excel

Do we lose our Excel reports?

Can we start in the middle of the season?

Yes. Start with one or two crews. We move your data in and set the system up for your crops.

What does a trial cost?

The first month is free for five users.
