What is recorded for every bin
| Data | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Pickers | The crew leader scans the pickers' QR badges. When several people pick one bin, its weight is split evenly. |
| Gross weight and tare | From scales over Bluetooth or cable, or typed in. The tare is chosen from a list or scanned by barcode. |
| Net weight | Gross minus tare. The system refuses a bin heavier than your maximum. |
| Block and row | The crew leader picks the block and row, and the phone adds a point on the map. |
| Variety, quality grade, pick number | The crew leader picks them from your farm's lists. |
| Crew leader and receiver | Who recorded the bin and who received it at the collection point. |
| Change history | Every change to a bin is kept: who changed what and when. |
Questions about harvest records
Does Hortusys work with electronic scales?
Yes. The scales connect to the phone over Bluetooth or cable, and the bin's weight is recorded by itself. We tell you on the demo which models fit.
What prints the labels?
A portable thermal label printer that works with the crew leader's phone. We choose the model with you on the demo.
What is printed on the label?
What you choose in the template: orchard, block, row, variety, weight, pickers, crew leader, print time, and a QR code or barcode.
What if there is no signal in the orchard?
Nothing changes. The app records bins offline and sends them when the signal is back.
Which harvest reports are there?
The harvest report shows kilograms by day, picker, crew leader, block, row, variety and quality grade. It exports to Excel.
Can I export the records to Excel?
Yes. The picker statement with bins, kilograms and amounts exports to Excel.
