Questions about the orchard map
Do I have to draw the map myself?
No. Our team moves the blocks and rows of your orchard into Hortusys. You can also draw a block on the map yourself.
Can I load the orchard from a file?
Yes. The orchard structure loads from Excel, CSV, KML or a shapefile.
How fast can I lay out rows?
Set the row count, spacing and angle, and the system lays out the rows in the block. Plants along a row are placed by themselves too.
What does each row show?
Its variety and plant count. Each plant shows its rootstock, planting date and condition.
Do rows have QR codes?
Yes. Every row has a QR code, and you can print a sheet with a block's codes.
Does it work for berry farms?
Yes. The map works for orchards and berry farms. The catalogue has 119 crops and more than 2,300 varieties.
