The law is neutral about format. Your audit is not neutral about time.
Article 67 of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 and Ukrainian law 86/95-VR require records of plant protection product use, but neither prescribes a format — a paper journal complies, and anyone telling you a deadline has changed that is selling something. The cost is not legality at one farm. It is a group certificate holder assembling treatment records from twenty farms, verifying them on site once a year, and answering a buyer's traceability question in hours rather than weeks.
- Every application recorded against a field, a product, a dose, a date and an operator
- Pre-harvest intervals visible against the harvest plan, before the picking crew is sent out
- Records entered in the field on Android, offline, at the time of the treatment
- Treatment history per field survives staff turnover — it is not in one agronomist's notebook
- Records for any member retrievable by the holder without a request to that farm
- Traceability from a shipped batch back to what was applied on the field it came from
