What the timesheet holds
- A simple timesheet for seasonal workers: the name, the 31 days of the month and a signature.
- In Excel, the days and hours of the month are counted for you.
- The timesheet records time. Piece-rate pay is calculated from the quantity of bins, kilograms or trees.
In Hortusys, the crew leader marks each worker's status for the day: present, on leave, sick, day off or absent. The timesheet exports to Excel.
Questions about the timesheet
Is form P-5 required in Ukraine?
No. Form P-5 was approved by order No. 489 of the State Statistics Committee of 5 December 2008, but the State Statistics Service explains that it is a recommendation (letter No. 9/4-10/9 of 12 January 2012). A farm can keep its own form with the needed details.
Must an employer record working time?
In Ukraine, yes. Part 2 of Article 30 of the Law on Remuneration of Labour requires every employer to keep a reliable record of the work each employee does.
How do I mark a day off, leave or sick leave?
Leave the cell empty or write the mark your farm uses. Excel counts only numbers in Days and Hours.
Does the timesheet work for piece-rate pay?
Yes, to record time. Piece-rate earnings are calculated from the quantity done: bins, kilograms or trees. The piece-rate pay guide shows how.
