What pay is made of
| Part | How it is calculated |

| Hourly pay | Hours worked times the rate. Overlapping time is not counted twice. |
| Piece-rate pay | Trees, net kilograms or bins times the rate. |
| Shared bin | When several people pick one bin, the kilograms are split evenly. |
| Bonus | For quality, output norm and job difficulty, within limits you set. |
| Payments | Every payment is recorded with its date: base pay, bonus or monthly salary. |
| Amount owed | Earned minus paid, rounded to a step you set. |
Questions about crew pay
How is piece-rate pay calculated?
Quantity times the rate: trees, net kilograms or bins. The worker knows the rate before the work. Quality and output bonuses are added to the amount.
Who sees a worker's earnings?
The crew leader and the office: earned today, bonus, paid and owed. Workers themselves do not log in.
How is a payment recorded?
Mark the payment with or without the bonus. It covers the worker's oldest unpaid jobs first, so the amount owed updates by itself.
Can the data go to accounting?
Yes. The pay statement exports to Excel or CSV, as a list by worker or as a worker-by-day table.
Who calculates taxes?
Your accounting software. Hortusys calculates the amount earned, paid and owed for each worker.
